Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Mary Jane Brown long-term care center. As a CNA, you will serve as a caregiver to our residents, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
