**About the Role:**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
- Transfer, reposition, and walk residents using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
**Requirements:**
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
