We are seeking a skilled and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at The Good Samaritan Society. As a CNA, you will provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to seniors in a supportive and respectful environment.
Job Summary:
The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long-term care. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and transferring/repositioning.
- Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
