Responsibilities
- Delivers resident-centered care and assists with daily living activities.
- Provides personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assists with meal service and provides hydration and nutritional support.
- Participates in medical procedures and assists with documentation.
- Monitors resident conditions and reports changes to the charge nurse.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
