Job Summary
A part-time Certified Nursing Assistant is needed to join our nursing team in a 55-bed rehabilitation and senior living facility. The successful candidate will provide resident-centered care, daily living assistance, and support to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct transfer techniques and equipment.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of hire date.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
