Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to join our team at GSS SD Canton Ctr in Canton, SD. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering physical therapy programs that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions on clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease.
- Utilizes tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
- Documents client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation.
- Educates clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
- Knowledge of and utilizes appropriate age-related treatments and evaluations relating to the needs of clients/patients/residents.
