Job Description:
This role involves directing nursing and clinical leadership teams to ensure effective patient care delivery. You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, consultation, and access to clinical resources for direct patient/resident care departments. Additionally, you will mentor and orient new nursing leaders to their roles, advocate for nursing leadership needs in the field, and support system change initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care related field preferred
- Demonstrated progressive nursing leadership experience; 5 years experience in a long term or post-acute care setting as a Director of Nursing required
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
