What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Care Coordinator position at Good Samaritan Society?
The Nursing Assistant serves as a caregiver to residents during the scheduled work period, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
You will be responsible for assisting with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
You will also assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate, and participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually, and CNA training and certification are provided by the facility.
