About the Role: As a Resident Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents.
- Assisting with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
- Aiding providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
- Documenting resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- A minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually.
- Ability to maintain all department specific required certifications.
