Job Description:
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. They utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients/residents. This involves collaboration with healthcare teams, including providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
The RN is responsible for coordinating patient/resident care, conducting thorough assessments, educating patients/residents, and implementing various nursing interventions. They may also serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as needed.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, applicants should possess a graduate degree from an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred. Additionally, one year of experience in long-term care, subacute care, or medical/surgical settings is desirable. Current licensure as a registered nurse with the state board of nursing is required.
