The LPN will work three 12-hour shifts from 6:00pm to 6:00am with every other weekend/holiday rotation. The Good Samaritan Society – Mary Jane Brown long term care center is a 51-bed facility that provides an unprecedented level of quality service, compassionate care, and amenities to ensure our residents enjoy a care-free, fulfilling lifestyle. We are seeking a qualified LPN to provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles, competency in performing testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status, and ability to recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to assist in an emergent situation.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. They will also have the ability to counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocate on prevention and treatment plans, and develop a self-care program.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $48,000 - $62,400 per year, including a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
