Job Summary
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our long-term care facility in Luverne, MN. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting resident interactions.
- Contribute to the assessment of residents, identifying their physical and psychosocial needs, and developing individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans, promoting resident education and self-care.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
