Facility: GSS ND Lakota Ctr
Location: Lakota, ND
Shift: 12 Hours - Day Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 36.00
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse (RN) utilizes the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. Collaborates with residents, family, and healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency in nursing expertise and age-specific standards. Provides preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment to residents. Coordinates care, conducts resident assessments, and educates residents on various nursing interventions.
May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Provides assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe administration of care and resolution of concerns. Functions within nursing practice scope and standards as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules.
Qualifications:
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
