Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at St. Johns Skilled Nursing Facility in Kearney, NE. As an RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and making decisions that impact resident outcomes.
About the Role:
This is a full-time night shift position with 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with older adults.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
* Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare teams to plan and implement care
* Demonstrate expertise in age-specific standards of care and utilize evidence-based practice
* Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, and provide education and support as needed
* Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel

Qualifications:
* Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA)
* Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
* Currently holds an unencumbered RN license or multistate licensure
* Maintains required departmental competencies and certifications
