Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will collaborate with residents, families, and other interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
The RN will also be responsible for resident education, coordination of care, and various other nursing interventions. In addition, the RN may serve as a charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
