We are seeking a Senior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at GSS ND Bi St Vincent Care Ctr in Bismarck, ND. As an experienced caregiver, you will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides assistance with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate, and creates a positive dining experience for residents.
- Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs.
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
