Job Overview
This is a part-time opportunity for an RN or LPN to work night shifts, including every third weekend rotation. The role involves working 12-hour shifts during the week and weekends.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Collaboration with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals is crucial in planning, implementing, and evaluating care. The RN will demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate resident care, including assessment, education, and various nursing interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as needed.
Requirements
A graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred. A bachelor's degree in nursing is also preferred. The ideal candidate will hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
