As a Senior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our Bismarck facility, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering quality care and making a difference in the lives of our residents.
The CNA serves as an experienced caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long-term care. Demonstrates expert level experience as a certified nursing assistant and assists other staff as needed. Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan.
The ideal candidate for this role is a caring and compassionate individual with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and service. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNA in long-term care is preferred, with a focus on training/mentoring new employees and demonstrating duties/tasks correctly.
Responsibilities of the CNA include:
- Providing comprehensive care to residents including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support
- Assisting residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate
- Participating in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed
