Job Description
We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team at one of our facilities. As an occupational therapist with the Good Samaritan Society, you will have the opportunity to work with clients of all ages and diagnoses, using a variety of techniques and interventions to promote independence and functional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to identify areas of need and develop realistic therapy goals
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs and objectives
- Provide education and training to clients and their families to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
- Document client information and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and progress
Qualifications:
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state(s) of practice
- Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), when required by facility or location
