Job Description: As a Physical Therapist Assistant at GSS SD Corsica Pleasant View, you will play a critical role in helping patients, residents, and clients achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will work closely with physical therapists to develop and implement personalized therapy plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement therapy plans
- Deliver high-quality therapy services to patients/residents/clients with physical, cognitive, developmental impairments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Monitor and report patient progress and outcomes
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with industry developments and best practices in physical therapy
Requirements:
- Graduation from an APTA-approved Physical Therapist Assistant program
- State licensure or certification as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
