About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Travel LPN. As a Travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from your home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting
- Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively to assist in an emergent situation
- Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Current holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Orients and completes required department specific competencies and certifications
