Nurse Qualifications and Responsibilities
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Candidates will be responsible for coordinating care, assessing residents, educating residents, and performing various other nursing interventions May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel
