RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee and manage the end-to-end medical billing process, including claim submission, payment posting, and denial management.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of medical billing codes to ensure accurate and compliant billing practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal staff to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, coding changes, and payer policies to maintain compliance with billing standards.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment across departments and programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical billing, with a focus on nonprofit healthcare organizations preferred.
• Proficiency in medical coding, billing software, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Thorough understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and other third-party payer regulations and reimbursement processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Certification in Medical Billing and Coding is highly desirable.
