Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and perform IV infusions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing staff or physician.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Completing dressing changes per provided orders.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, catheterizations, and other nursing procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective case management and patient support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as Quick MAR and paper charting.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Experience in long term care or geriatric settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Quick MAR, as well as paper charting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.
