Good Shepherd Fairview home is looking for a talented Maintenance 1 to join our team.
Key Duties Include but are not limited to:
Responsible for maintenance of the Facility and Grounds and all associated equipment within the facility. Responsible for snow/ice removal at all facility entrance ways to ensure safety for all residents, staff and visitors.
- Making minor repairs to equipment and handling work order requests.
- Reporting repeated concerns to immediate supervisor
- Conferring with a manager for additional assistance
- Integrity inspections of all equipment within the facility
- Signature of time of inspections and documentation
- Maintaining the established preventative maintenance programs
- Priming and painting walls, stairways, elevators and floors
- High emphasis on Facility Floor Care program
- Performing minor electrical needs, replacing light bulbs and pull cord switches
- Maintenance personnel are required to follow facilities Lockout Tag Out program
- Performing plumbing tasks such as toilet valves, sink repair, drain cleaning and unclogging
- Ensuring safety measures in place for fire protection
- Ensuring safety measures are in place to prevent damage to surroundings

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
Driver's license required
1 year maintenance experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $18.50 per hour
