Good Shepherd Child Development Center seeks early childhood professionals who desire to provide an atmosphere of safety, love, acceptance, discovery, and exploration. Our teachers will plan and implement age-appropriate activities that work to intentionally improve all five areas of a child's development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a loving and caring personality.
- Provide good communication skills with both young children and adults.
- Educational requirements include High School diploma or equivalent.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is preferred.
- Coursework in early childhood education is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in education/early childhood education is a plus!
- Must be at least 18 years of age. (21 if working with infants)
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Assist in creating a positive, nurturing environment.
- Assist in implementing curriculum.
- Ensure the children's well being and safety at all times.
- Able to follow classroom and daily schedules.
