Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiving Specialist to join our team at Good Shepherd Lutheran Services. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our residents.
About the Role:
- Assess resident's health status and needs by assessing, interpreting, recording and communication data relevant to resident care using the nursing process.
- Develops and implements an appropriate plan of care based on assessment and diagnosis tailored to meet each resident's individual needs and preferences (physical, cultural, and psychosocial).
- Administers, delegates, and monitors direct resident services to assure quality of care for all residents in accordance with the privileges and limitations of the Nurse Practice Act.
- Competently performs skin treatments, catheterizations, tube feedings, and other treatments and cares as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a registered nurse accredited program required.
- Current active RN nursing licensure in the State of Minnesota in good standing.
- CPR certified.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
