Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Good Shepherd Lutheran Services. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing quality care to residents under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection: Perform initial data collection on all residents and follow up on date collection as per policies and procedures.
- Implementation: Administer, delegate, and monitor quality direct resident services to ensure quality of care for all residents.
- Medication Administration: Demonstrate knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on each resident's status, diagnoses, and medication regimen.
- Treatments and Clinical Skills: Competently perform skin treatments, catheterizations, tube feedings, and other treatments as needed.
- Documentation: Document professionally, accurately, and completely according to current standards and policies.
Requirements
- Graduate of a licensed practical nurse accredited program required.
- Current active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) nursing license in the State of Minnesota in good standing.
- CPR certified.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
