This therapist will provide speech therapy services for children from birth through age three with disabilities or special developmental needs, helping them to build on their child's strengths, and to enhance and promote the child's growth, development, and learning skills in their natural environment. Therapy services are provided to infants and toddlers in the home, daycare, or community at the most critical time in a child’s life, to address developmental delays in the areas of cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, and communication development. Utilizing a coaching model, caregivers are included in the teaching process, so therapy can carry over in all aspects of the child’s routines and environments.

Provide rehabilitative services to patients/clients who have reduced communicative or swallow function. Improve functional communication and swallow skills, provide patient/family education and serve as a resource for community services.

Education

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
