- JOB SUMMARY
- Maintains the facility grounds and buildings and assists maintenance mechanics as needed.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- MAINTAINS FACILITY GROUNDS AND EXTERIOR
- By mowing, raking, edging of lawns, weeding, cutting brush and trimming shrubbery.
- By sweeping sidewalks and removing snow.
- By picking up paper and debris, emptying trash and smoking material from outside receptacles.
- MAINTAINING BUILDING INTERIOR
- By cleaning of boiler rooms, mechanical rooms, electrical rooms and elevator equipment rooms.
- By helping maintenance mechanics when needed.
- By performing preventive maintenance on equipment when assigned by the Maintenance Coordinator.
- RELOCATES OFFICES
- By moving office equipment and boxes.
- MAINTAINS EQUIPMENT
- By learning to operate, maintain and service power equipment and grounds equipment such as snow blower, garden tractor, lawn mowers, edger and weed trimmer per manufactured recommendations.
- MAINTAINS SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- By complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- MAINTAINS CONTINUITY BETWEEN SHIFTS
- By keeping supervisor informed of concerns and needs.
- CONTRIBUTES TO TEAM EFFORT
- By accomplishing related results as needed.
- By working together by covering for absent associates and helping in other areas when needed.
- By filling in for transportation as needed.

- High School Diploma required
- Work Experience
- Previous experience in grounds keeping and general maintenance duties preferred
- Licenses / Certifications
- Driver's License required
