Overview

If you answered yes to all these questions then we want you to join our team! We are looking for a dynamic and compassionate Assistant G roup Leaders to work with us. In this role you will be responsible for the overall leadership, planning and implementation of an after-school group for K-12 youth, including integrated educational projects, recreation, arts and crafts and group building activities.
Reports to: Program Director @ MS 363
Location: 120 East 184th Street, Bronx, NY 10468
Hours:
Monday through Friday:
2:00pm-5:30pm, (18 hours per week)
SALARY: $16.50/hr

Major Duties:
- Plan and facilitate integrated learning, recreational, arts and developmental activities for youth.
- Collaborate with and direct program aides.
- Ensure a safe and engaging classroom environment.
- Support Activity Instructors with lessons.
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience having worked with youth preferred.
- Ability to lead and participate in group sports and recreation.
- Commitment to work from a youth strength based perspective.
