Hours: 35 Hours/Week; Exempt
Salary: $47,653.00-$52,948.00/year
Summary: The Medicaid Strategy and Compliance team is seeking a Data Integrity Specialist to join our team. We oversee agency-wide efforts in Health Services performance management and supports evidence-generating activities. The Data Integrity Specialist tends to be the essential building block of Health Services by assuring the accuracy and consistency of myEvolv, and other data via data management and close collaboration with program staff.
Major Duties:
- Create reports from myEvolv and various systems to ensure compliance.
- Responsible for all components of accurate data entry into the myEvolv.
- Represent GSS and leverage positive relationships with external stakeholders to advocate around issues affecting the integrity of agency data.
- Provide onboarding training regarding EHR records for new nurse hires, as well as for staff improvement.
- Communicate with program leadership regarding quality assurance and compliance report findings.
- Provide monthly statistical reports for the Health Services team.Provide support in all audits conducted by MSC.
- Ensure consistency of data among myEvolv.
- Work in partnership with various support departments such as PEP and IT.
- Collaborate with other Compliance team members to support data integrity across systems (i.e., audits, non-Health Home data entry).
- Collaborate with supervisors and Medicaid Quality Assurance Manager to ensure accurate billing and reconciliation of data.
- Support the leadership of MSC in special projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Data entry experience needed.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office and database systems (e.g., GSI, myEvolv, Excel, Connections).
- Must have superior organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work collaboratively with a variety of people is essential.
- Ability to use public transportation for travel to program locations throughout New York City.
- Strong customer service sensibility is essential.
