TITLE : SECURITY GUARD
REPORTS TO : PROGRAM DIRECTOR
LOCATION : 2635 Linden blvd brooklyn ny 11208
HOURS : Non-Exempt
School Year Hours 2 : 30pm – 6 : 00pm , M – F
Summer Camp July and August 8am- 5pm M - F
SALARY : $16.50 / HR
JOB SUMMARY : The primary function of this position is employee and visitor control as well as performing patrol duties to ensure the safety of the participants, facility, its employees and assets.
MAJOR DUTIES :
- Verify each visitor’s authorization by checking ID cards and logging visitor entry and exit to facility
- Notify point-of-contact of visitor arrivals and answer questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Keep detailed records / track and perform other related security tasks as assigned by Program Director or Assistant Site Coordinator
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Facilitate daily participant sign in / sign out procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned.
