Job Purpose: Assembles and packages game call products for storage or shipment. Helps keep department, work area and facility clean.
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Summary of Essential Job Duties:
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Inspects and removes defective product, raw material and packaging material.
- Stocks product/raw materials for assembly packaging.
- Tests and verifies game call sound to ensure quality standards.
- May count and record finished and rejected packaged items.
- Stacks finished packaged items or packs items in labeled boxes
- Attaches identification labels to finished packaged items and pallet.
- Responsible to always maintain a clean workspace throughout the shift
- Helps Assembler lead set up, start up, break down, and clean up.
- Helps Cycle Counts Raw Material
- Tracks raw material usage: Damaged, waste, shortages
- Reports any safety, mechanical, raw material shortages to Production Manager/Supervisor/Lead.
- May help other departments as needed.
- If duties/line run are complete, production should help on another machine line if needed.
- Assemble,test and record game call assembly
- Alerts Assembler Lead/Production Supervisor when changes/adjustments need to be made that are beyond the assembler's capability
Skills/Qualifications:

- Ability to work with individuals or groups.
- Strong communication & organizational skills.

- Basic understanding of tools related to working on various machines.
- The person must have good motor skills and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The role requires standing for up to 12 hours, lifting, turning, twisting, safety gate operation, reaching, pulling, pushing, and clutching,
- Lifting 50lb. boxes, stretching and reaching overhead, etc.
- Ability to speak, read and write English.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Must have a one to three plus years in a manufacturing environment.
