What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian - AbilityOne position at Good Vocations Inc?
PURPOSE:
To provide custodial service for Contract Services at various locations
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a Mentor in the subject of work" to all who come to Goodwill for training or job placement assistance. In that, work ethic is more "caught than taught", you will teach others by your own work ethic and passion for quality.
- Cleaning sanitizing bathrooms
- Wiping down walls
- Emptying trash
- Vacuuming carpets
- Mopping floors
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to read warning labels
- Lift 50 lbs.
- Stoop and bend repeatedly, stand for at least 6 hours per day
- Climb a 10 foot ladder
- Able to work weekends and nights as required
EXPERIENCE:
Entry level position, none required.
EDUCATION:
High School or equivalent preferred.
