Good Works Talent is conducting a search for a highly motivated and technically skilled Tax Accountant at the Senior or Manager level to join our Wichita, KS based client for the upcoming busy season and beyond.

What You'll Need :

Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential with recent public accounting experience.
Growing expertise in AppFolio, CCH ATX, Intuit QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office. (Be ready to demonstrate your savvy Excel skills!)
Highly organized, intuitive, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a hybrid work environment.

What You'll be Doing :

Assist with onboarding tax clients and establishing regular workflows.

Manage the workflow of assigned clients.

Meet with clients to gather information and review completed returns.

Prepare Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 990 tax returns.

Review completed returns for accuracy and finalization.

Consult with clients on tax compliance and planning projects.

Troubleshoot and resolve client tax-related problems, including communication with government agencies.

Assist with the continued development of company processes and workflows.

Perform other duties as needed.
