Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Good 2 Go. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our facilities across multiple locations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow company safety standards and report issues.
• Monitor and complete work orders to meet tenant expectations including:
• Appliance repair
• Addressing plumbing issues
• Changing air filters and light bulbs
• Drywall repair
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Other maintenance requests and issues as needed
• Complete weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance schedule.
• Assist in and complete snow removal and grounds care as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on store facilities and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS.
• Collaborate with store management to prioritize maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance work.
• Assist in the fabrication of necessary components for repairs as needed.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any facility-related concerns promptly.

Work Environment

• Typically work is performed in a convenience store setting.
• Frequent work in hot and cold environments.
• Occasionally work is performed in an office setting.

Physical Demands

• Able to sit and walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to move freely around work sites.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to work in cramped attic areas.
• Able to work from heights.

Travel

• 75-90% - State of AZ

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required

• Two or more years’ experience in maintenance, operations, or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
• Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations
• Able to effectively multitask.
• Strong understanding of facility systems and maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interior and exterior paint, appliance repair, etc.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred

• Associate’s degree or technical/trade school certification in a related field.
• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings is essential.
• Basic welding skills and experience in fabrication are preferred.
• Ability to perform residential painting tasks as required.
• Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with team members.
• Leadership qualities to guide maintenance efforts across locations are a plus.
• Experience with CMMS or similar maintenance management software is beneficial.
