Associate Analyst - Consumer & Product Insights - Hybrid (Atlanta)

Under the direction of the Director of Business Insights & Analytics, the incumbent will support business growth by enabling deeper understanding of our consumers, consumption behavior across categories, product performance and performance of key marketing initiatives through visibility, in-depth analysis and actionable insights that ultimately drive key cross-functional activities and guide strategic direction

Candidate must live in or around the Atlanta area to be considered.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Pack & Product Insights:

  • Execute reporting to assess pack and product health, partnering with cross-functional teams on key metrics and goals
  • Perform necessary deep dive analysis for product-level performance and health across key consumer and consumption metrics, identifying opportunities to support monthly market and product performance reviews, product strategies and new product development

Consumer Insights:

  • Perform analysis in preparation for Panel Data Reviews, supporting Brand and other cross-functional teams with key insights and opportunities
  • Support category and consumer understanding evolution through additional visibility to key consumer and purchase metrics with consumer segmentation, occasion insights and relevant category trends
  • Provide analytical support to target, measure and understand effectiveness of marketing and product initiatives

Business Planning & Performance Tracking:

  • Manage/maintain product performance tools to ensure accuracy and effectiveness across key functions
  • Identify additional automation and/or tool development opportunities and build where relevant and meaningful, partnering with necessary cross-functional teams on requirements & needs
  • Aid in channel planning process by providing input into key consumer and shopper insights for integration into selling strategies
  • Support in topline business modeling, updates and any ad hoc reporting and analysis

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years of work experience preferably in consumer and shopper insights
  • A working knowledge of the CPG industry and/or retail sales preferred
  • Experience with data visualization software and logic building processes
  • Desire to work in a small company and maintain a “do what it takes” attitude
  • Occasional, as needed travel
