Description : Job Summary :
The Shift Manager is the leader of our kitchen team working with and alongside our GM & Area Manager.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Responsible, hard-working, great attitude, and willingness to learn and take direction are of utmost importance for an employee to succeed at Goodfellas!
- Keep notes and logs of all events & busy volumes in the Manager Logbook
- Ideas to improve service or overall store operations
- Training of line-level staff; prep work, cooking, health & safety practices, 30-second relationship strategy and customer service skills
- Provide the best product possible for our guests
- Deal with guest and employee issues if / when they arise
- Obtain food manager's certification (provided by Goodfellas)
- Maintain inventory of all food ingredients, stocking as needed
- Follow all health and sanitation practices, as well as all safety procedures and protocols
