Electrical Shop Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical Shop Manager to lead our team in the assembly and
production of electrical control panels for crushing, screening, and conveying equipment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive industrial electrical experience, particularly with 480V systems, and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to manage and mentor a skilled workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of electricians and technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical control panel assembly projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet industry standards and client expectations.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for complex electrical systems, with a focus on 480V components.
• Ensure all shop activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, promoting a culture of safety among staff.
• Manage inventory levels of electrical components and tools, coordinating with suppliers to maintain adequate stock.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in industrial electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on 480V applications.
• Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial role within an electrical assembly or manufacturing environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.

• Must have electrical and managerial experience
