Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while catering to the diverse needs of multilingual learners.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Mentor students by providing guidance and support in their academic and personal growth.
- Design instructional materials that incorporate various learning technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Write clear and concise educational resources following the Chicago Manual Style for consistency in documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in lesson planning and instructional design, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Maintain organized records of student progress and adapt teaching strategies based on individual learning styles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in teaching or mentoring multilingual learners is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and their application in educational settings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in at least one additional language preferred.
