Description
We are seeking a skilled and licensed HVAC Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing HVAC systems for commercial projects and possess a valid state license. The HVAC Designer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our commercial clients receive efficient and effective heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed site assessments to gather information on existing HVAC systems and project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into commercial building designs.
- Design and layout HVAC systems for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Prepare accurate and detailed HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications using industry-standard software.
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment based on project specifications, energy efficiency, and client needs.
- Provide technical support to project teams during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in HVAC design.
- Ensure that all HVAC designs meet environmental and energy efficiency standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Valid state license for HVAC design.
- Proven experience in designing HVAC systems for commercial projects.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
