Receptionist

Description

The Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors and is often a customer’s initial contact with Goodin Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create a fantastic first impression for visitors and callers.
• Direct incoming calls and visitors to appropriate person or department.
• Aid Office Support staff with overflow work.
• Handle daily document scanning duties for order paperwork
• Manage check payment logs

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products and comfortable with computer use
• Minimum of 2 years similar job experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products and comfortable with computer use

Physical Demands

• The physical demands described here are a sample of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• May occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
• Regular use of arms, hands and fingers to feel, grasp, type and reach.
• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period time.
• Close vision requirements due to computer work.

Work Environment

• Office atmosphere. Light to moderate noise (white noise, phones, printers, etc.)
