What You'll Do
- Clean and inspect various production equipment, including but not limited to filling machines, labeling machines and compounding equipment
- Clean and inspect production area
- Support production activities by staging and preparing materials for production (boxes, components, etc)
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure all cleaning meets quality requirements
- Maintain an organized and sanitary work environment
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines for production
- Communicate with supervisor throughout the day and have the ability to shift priorities as needed on short notice
- Engage and encourage your co-workers by helping to build a positive team dynamic. This includes assisting your peers and supervisors as needed throughout the work day
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be organized, self-motivated, and deadline-driven
- Must be able to regularly lift 40-50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- cGMP and/or ISO experience preferred
- Pallet jack experience a plus
- Ability to reach, crouch, bend, scrub, etc. in this highly mobile position
- Teamwork oriented, able to follow direction and work well in a team
- Keen attention to detail and procedure
- Available during regular 1st shift operating hours Monday through Thursday with occasional flexibility
