GoodLife Innovations is seeking Direct Support Professionals to lead center-based and community-based activities and support the persons served in our Lawrence Day Services program!
As a Day Services Direct Support Professional, you will lead pre-planned activity classes, facilitate group community outings, and support positive behaviors. Your days will be spent in our Day Service Center, out in the community, and in residential programs to assist with client goals and personal care needs.

As a Day Services Direct Support Professional, you will lead pre-planned activity classes, facilitate group community outings, and support positive behaviors. Your days will be spent in our Day Service Center, out in the community, and in residential programs to assist with client goals and personal care needs.
Entry-Level Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs to physically assist individuals
- Flexibility in assigned working location based on client needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous direct support or teaching experience, ideally in a therapeutic setting
- Experience working with clients with disruptive behaviors
Schedules Available: Monday-Friday
- 8am - 4pm
- 9am - 3pm
Some Duties Include:
- Leading pre-planned activity classes (art, cooking, music, life skills)
- Facilitating safe and fun community outings (bowling, volunteering, museums, library)
- Assisting persons served to actively engage and appropriately participate in group activities
- Prompting or fully supporting with personal care needs (toileting, meals)
- Documenting daily activities
