As the Director of JCMS, you will manage the day-to-day operations and service delivery at JCMS in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and state licensing standards to provide an educational, nurturing, and safe environment for children, staff, and parents. The Director requires a commitment to early education, positive intervention, and inclusion of children with special needs. This leader must enjoy working closely with teachers; demonstrate strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills; work well with parents; and meet all standards set by state and national licensing.

As the Director of JCMS, you will manage the day-to-day operations and service delivery at JCMS in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and state licensing standards to provide an educational, nurturing, and safe environment for children, staff, and parents. Some duties include:
- Overseeing all operations at and services provided by JCMS
- Managing admissions and intake processes for children
- Supervising all staff related to JCMS (making hiring decisions, ensuring staff are trained, providing necessary coaching/feedback)
- Communicating with parties involved in JCMS services (parents, school districts, other GoodLife departments)
- Managing the monthly budget for activities, supplies, groceries, etc.
- Ensuring JCMS is in full compliance with KDHE licensing requirements
Qualifications:
- Education requirements:
- A degree in child development or early childhood education; OR
- An A.B or B.S. degree in a similar field and 12 semester hours of education/training in child development/early childhood education
- Experience requirements:
- One year as a Director in a center serving >24 children; OR
- One year as an Assistant Director in a center serving >100 children
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Google applications (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
- Ability to direct team members and give feedback effectively
- Ability to manage time effectively with strong skills in delegation, follow-up, and handling several tasks simultaneously
