Senior Smart Home Engineer with Expertise in Beacon and Wearable Technologies

We are seeking a highly skilled Smart Home Engineer with expertise in SIP, smart home, beacon, and wearable technologies to join our dynamic R&D team. This role involves developing and implementing state-of-the-art technologies to create seamless, intuitive, and user-centric smart home experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop systems integrating beacon and wearable technologies with home automation and IoT devices
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define product requirements and engineering specifications
- Prototype, test, and refine applications and devices based on determined specifications
- Ensure compatibility and integration of new systems with existing smart home architecture
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in smart home development
- Document and maintain engineering documentation and system designs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in engineering with a focus on IoT, wearable technology, or home automation
- Extensive experience with SIP and smart home technology (Zigbee and Z-Wave)
- Proven expertise in Bluetooth LE (BLE), beacons, and wireless communication protocols
- Experience with embedded systems design and development
- Programming skills in Python, Java, and/or C
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Experience with AI and machine learning integration in smart home contexts
- Previous work on projects integrating multiple data sources and devices into a cohesive user experience
- System/network administrator experience to support iLink products (Microsoft network certifications preferred)
