Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Implement and follow care plans tailored to each client's specific needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including housekeeping tasks.
- Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programs.
Skills
- Strong understanding of senior care practices and principles, including experience in assisted living or memory care settings.
- Proficiency in CPR and first aid techniques is preferred.
