Senior Financial Risk & Regulatory Supervisor - Bermuda
I am working with a Leading Financial Services firm in Bermuda on a Risk & Regulatory Supervisor role. This strategic role, offering full relocation assistance, involves comprehensive oversight of financial institutions across banking, trust, corporate services, and investment sectors.
You will lead a team in conducting on-site and off-site supervisory activities for licensed institutions, undertaking risk-based analysis to determine annual supervisory plans and regulatory requirements. You'll monitor remediation efforts by financial institutions, ensuring they address issues identified during supervisory activities. Your expertise will be crucial in contributing to the development of regulatory policies for the financial services industry, adapting to new technologies and market trends. Your responsibilities will include applying risk-based models to allocate supervisory resources effectively, liaising with industry bodies and international regulatory authorities, and representing the organisation at various committees, seminars, and conferences.
You will bring a robust academic and professional background, including a master's degree in business, finance, or law, complemented by advanced professional designations such as CA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent credentials. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of seven years postgraduate experience, including at least three years at a senior leadership level within financial services regulation or related complex financial environments.
