Goodman Properties has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant that will provide administrative support to our Maintenance Department.
Goodman Properties is a Jenkintown-based real estate development and management firm established in 1985. We manage more than 125 locations in the tri-state area and nationally, ranging from free-standing retail locations to large-scale neighborhood shopping centers.
The Administrative Assistant will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the Maintenance Department, including:
- Receiving, prioritizing, distributing and responding to phone calls and emails from tenants, vendors and maintenance staff.
- Providing support and communication related to the status of work orders, projects, and critical needs to vendors and maintenance staff.
- Office management and general clerical duties for the department, including copying, filing, recordkeeping, mailing, supply ordering and office equipment service.
- Coordinating the scheduling of maintenance-related appointments and meetings, and preparing related documents and materials as needed.
- Preparing and modifying documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails.
- Sharing coverage of front desk responsibilities when needed. This includes answering and forwarding phone calls, taking and relaying messages, and opening and distributing mail.
The successful candidate will have 1 years of related administrative support experience in a professional setting. BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business or other related field of study is preferred. Required skills and abilities include:
- Excellent organizational abilities and superior attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced computing skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook and Excel.
- A positive, outgoing attitude with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Occasional before or after hours and weekend phone calls and emails will occur, typical of standard maintenance department operations.
